In September 2023, Jianlong Xilin Steel commissioned a new 4-million-ton-per-year straight-grate pelletizing line in Xilin, Heilongjiang — one of the largest such lines in Northeast China.

We were invited to supply trial samples. The customer wanted to see if our products could handle their tough conditions. We shipped promptly.

Installed and tested on October 25, 2024, with 16 upper sidewalls
Xilin Steel
Heat test (1280°C + 2m/min faster)
To push our products to the limit, the plant ramped up the kiln temperature to 1280°C and increased belt speed by 2 meters per minute — well above design specs. Our sidewalls held. No cracks. No deformation.

After three months of use
Scaling up
Convinced by the summer performance, the plant switched to our sidewalls in volume. So far, we have supplied over 2,600 upper sidewall pieces to this single line.

First major inspection
After nearly two years of continuous service under extreme conditions, the plant conducted its scheduled overhaul. Inspection results: Our sidewalls were fully intact — no signs of burn-through, no cracks, no replacement needed.

After three months of use
Annual tender awarded
Based on proven performance, we won the annual consumables tender against multiple competitors. The contract includes 15,400 grate bars plus a full maintenance parts package for the upcoming year — a clear signal of their trust in our long-term capability.
